Preparing for the Future!

It’s Job Fair season, and we have been hard at work attending job fairs in Melbourne, Orlando, and Tampa in search of people with the right attitude and work ethic to be a part of our amazing team!  Most of these have been attended by high school seniors or trade school students looking for a path to success.  Careers in construction can help support an amazing life, and we have been spreading the word about the opportunities and benefits of learning a valuable trade.

In 2007, Coastal identified a need to grow and develop world-class skilled tradespeople. We started our own Pipefitter, Plumbing, and Sheetmetal worker, apprenticeship program and named it after the founder Alfred B. Osterhout (ABO Apprenticeship, INJ) It is accredited by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) and registered with the Florida Department of Education. We also continually partner with the construction industry and the education sector to raise awareness of the fulfilling careers that can come from a solid foundation of Apprenticeship. We have many success stories of employees who started with us right out of high school, graduated from our apprenticeship program, and have worked their way up to high level leadership roles within our company.
