I just wanted to take a minute and share that Coastal has been accepted into ABC’s STEP program and has received PLATINUM Status!
The status rankings are Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. Starting in 1989 as a safety benchmarking and improvement tool, STEP has now evolved into a world-class safety management system that dramatically improves safety performance among participants.
The STEP process is only for participating ABC members and measures each company’s safety processes and polices on 25 key components through a detailed questionnaire with the goal of implementing or enhancing safety programs that overall reduce Jobsite incidents.
The application approval process consists of a variety of things such as policies, programs, procedures, inspections and documentation but most importantly our safety records based off our OSHA 300A forms each year.
We have progressed and become better and better each year, and we have all of you to thank for this, for being out there dedicated to ensuring our employees are safe and putting Safety as a priority! Really something to be COASTAL PROUD about! Thank you all and keep up the excellent work! Lets get to DIAMOND STATUS FOR 2022!
